Why do students at Oaks Park wear a uniform?

Why do students at Oaks Park wear a uniform?

Students wear uniform at Oaks Park High School because:

  • It makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance.
  • It is practical and smart.
  • It promotes a sense of pride in the school.
  • It reinforces a sense of belonging to our school community.
  • It identifies the children with the school.

Students must travel to and from school in full school uniform.

We strive to balance our uniform standards with affordability and practicality for all families; therefore, from September 2026 and in line with statutory requirements, the school will limit the number of branded uniform items to four. The compulsory branded items are the blazer, tie, PE top, and bag (for Years 7–9), which must be purchased from the recommended stockists listed above. To ensure the correct items are purchased, please state that you are buying a uniform for Oaks Park High School; however, the rest of the uniform may be bought elsewhere, provided it complies with the requirements outlined below.
