Year 7 Explore Global Biomes at Iconic Kew Gardens

Year 7 pupils had the opportunity to attend a trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew as part of our ongoing personal development curriculum. Kew Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its extensive collection of plants and its vital role in global plant conservation and education. During the visit, pupils explored the Palm House and the Princess of Wales Conservatory.

The trip was an invaluable opportunity to enhance pupils' understanding of various biomes worldwide. They experienced firsthand the climates and plant species found in specific biomes, such as the Sahara Desert and the Tropical Rainforest.

Reviews from Year 7:

  • "All the plants were very vibrant and colourful."
  • "Amazing experience for learning about biomes."
